Usually agressive passive behaviors dont appear directly and specially during an interview. this appears through day by day action and communication. In case the recruiter is interested in knowing about this, he should be contacting companies with which this candidate worked. In case they reply in short words about him then they are hiding something. Moreover, if a candidate has moved from company to another very frequently and he/ she did not have a proper explanation about it then it is a sign of temper issue and not money or social security or job description.

Yes, it possible however NOT easy to assess. It is possible by deploying "multiple & different" methods to assess and arrive at profiling the candidate............Some jobs "passive-agressive behaviour" is crucial for its success (Sales & Delivery); whereas for some jobs it will be detrimental (Customer Service & Hospitality). However..........Do we NEED or NOT for a given JOB is the tough task when we SCOPE a job :-) ......!!

Yes it is. In fact an HR should peep deep into the behavioural traits of an applicant as these are the key indicators and help him/her better understand the prospective on the job behavior of the applicant. An aggressive approach to a given task is a must in today's competitive work environment whereas being passive or assertive helps an individual develop good interpersonal skills in addition to better team playing.

In the interview board, HR assess the interpersonal skills of the employees. It helps to identify the right person for the right organization and the right position.

Yes..It is very Important for Recruiters to know whom they are hiring.

Analysing a prospective employees behavioural traits will give valuable insights about his or her personality.Aggresiveness is to a certain degree ok with employees in sales as their role demands it.but the ones in management need to be of a very balanced and controlled nature.

In my case I will trace out those particulars with indirect questions and answering mode...

If it is not at all possible, I will ask direct questions to know the weekness of a person as he knows better than others.
