answer the phone within3 rings, Greet the caller with a proper salutation, and thank the caller for calling

Be polite at all times, even if the customer is being less than polite.3.
Be quick with putting calls through and giving information.4.
Deal with call as quickly as possible.5.
Use friendly words and sound as if interested in the caller as a person, do not just see them as another caller.6.
Each call to be treated as if it was the first call of the day - with bright and cheerful tone.7.
If using a script, personalise it so that fits the call.
