Task analysis describes how a given task is accomplished. Task analysis typically includes a detailed graphical mapping of the user's physical and cognitive actions, system states (hardware and/or software), information used and decision processes.

Key Task Analys is : Study of a set of operation(s) to determine the level of performance required, time taken, the quality of the outcomes, and quality of the total job or project. Also called key results analysis, it is employed usually in the training of managerial or supervisory level employees.
