Do you think that in future procurement of solar energy will be a great substitute of procurement of oil in gulf region?

The solar energy will be a great substitute of domestic power generation in the Gulf region. Though the electricity of the gulf region is heavily depend on oil resource of the region, it is time to switch over to renewable source energy generation. 

Although all countries in the region showing interest to invest in renewable energy production, maximum percentage comprising in producing solar power generation. Saudi Arabia is planning to build 25GW of solar CSP, 16GW of Solar PV power generation by 2032. In 2011 the Dubai government set a target to generate 1% of all energy from renewable sources by 2020 and 5% by 2030. Kuwait Government has announced to produce 15% of its power generation to be implemented with Solar power source by 2030.
