A company is asked the leaving H.R Manager to conduct and interview and appoint a replacement for him before he leave to train him properly. Suggest me the questions he would ask to the candidates. what will be the candidates replay
1) The H.R managers must be well aware of the role and responsibilities that his successor has to take upon. so he must test the candidate's aptitude and capabilities to take up the role.
2) he must examine whether the candidate has necessary skill sets to handle the required job profile.
3) he must see to it that the candidate has the right attitude to handle the situations that come along with the job responsibility.
I agree with Saiful Islam it is not recommended to involve the leaving HR manager for such role, but it is more professional and beneficial to hire through a reputed recruitment firm.
It should not be wise work for the organization to nominate the leaving HR manager to select new one. If organization needs to hire potential HR Manager, hire Head of HR to conduct interview from reputed organization to select the best candidate for his or her organization.
