A person who knows marketing well ,certainly says is not easy at all, because he knows very well that marketing includes many activities such as: promotion ,advertising , market study, know the status of the competitors , public relations , study prices ,product development , study the tastes and needs of consumers and satisfy them at the right time and place , all of the above needs to develop plans and strategies necessary to accomplish these activities and achieve their goals effectively.
Not at all, who ever made this statement is not a marketing person. Every function has its complexities intrinsic to it and so does marketing. Sometim es when plans are well implemented and success obtained they make marketing look easy but behind this success has been some accurate and painstaking planning. The ease of marketing depends on the target it needs to reach and since invariably marketing has to reach a set of human beings, it is never easy to reach them as you are targeting their emotions and not just creating a plan.
