Team working eventually makes you Supervisor, Team leader, Manager, CEO or Boss so to speak.
At first you may be a team member, and as you improve yourself, you might be the leader.
As I enjoy working as a Manager or Leader, I like team working.
There are jobs that are performed being alone like designing, painting , writing etc., and it depends upon what a person enjoys to do.
This is an epic question and everyone know what's the conclusive answer to expect at the end of the thread. But for me I prefer to be ALONE specially when writing stories where no teamwork effort is needed. The question is subjective ...generally TEAMWORK comes the best!
