the winding will burn if the supplied crruent will come over the winding risistance ,the rotation is not possible due to constancy of the cycle flux can only goive the ripple to rotate the rotor if there is change in frequency .so one pole will shift the magnatic flux toword other.

If an AC induction motor is applied with DC voltage, then due to unavailability of change in flux as in AC,the induction will not be possible. also in case of dc supply the motor winding will not be able to withstand for long time and at last the motor winding will be damaged.

If DC voltage is applied to the induction motor stator winding then a constant flux is produced. And hence no emf induced in the rotor conductors. The motor doesnot run.

As the stator winding resistance is low, it draws high current and burns down the winding.

DC voltage must not be applied to run an induction motor.

(I=V/Z)    OHMS LAW  Z=R+X    X =0 in dc  so I=V/R   R so small it is the resistance of the coil you can measure by ohmeter  in this case( I ) the current to hi can damage the motor.

When we apply a DC voltage to AC induction motor , the motor will not run . as DC current has no changing flux , so this constancy of flux will not produce the emf , hence motor will not run . moreover it may burn the windings of the motor due to the Low resistance and High current

1- The motor wont rotate as there is no rotating magnatic field will be generated and no induced voltage will be induced in rotor bars.

2-Depending on the applied voltage and Motor current rating determines whether it will be burnt or not.
