The HOLY PROPHET (PBUH) SAID ," A TIME WILL COME WHEN EVERY BODY WILL TRY TO CHEAT OTHERS. BUT THE ONE WHO WILL TRUST ON SOME ONE , WILL BE CHEATED." DO YOU THINK THAT TIME MENTIONED IS OUR LIFE TIME ?
WELL SAID SIR.... TRUELY YES ITS THE TIME RASOOL ALLAH (PBUH) MENTIONED...... BETRAYAL IS NOW AN ART ,,ISNTEAD OF BEING ASHEMED PEOPLE ARE PROUD TO BE CHEATER, THEY CALL IT SMART ONE.... ALLAH PROTECTS US FROM CHEATERS AROUND US. AMEEN
I agree. Trust has become a scarcity in this time. It's hard to give and hard to earn, so it seems. The problem with trust lies in its nature of being easily harmed. Damaged trust is like a broken mirror; even when glued back together, it never looks the same or give the same reflection.
It becomes more problematic when having no trust in people and receiving no trust in people become an epidemic commonly acceptable trait or characteristic of a culture or some people. That's when you know that NOBODY can be or should trusted and that change is very difficult and it is hard to preserve your good self among them.
1- If we do not know them, the problem is the uncertainty, so we can not trust100%
2- If we know them very well, the problem is the previous situations about them and the extent of credibility
Mr. Minhas I agree with you, knowing people very well or not knowing them very well is certainly the reason we trust them or not trust them.
some people misjudge other's but at the end you are right.
I would like to answer with some beautiful quotes:
Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none.
You may be deceived if you trust too much, but you will live in torment if you don't trust enough.
He who does not trust enough, Will not be trusted.
Trust, but verify.
Learning to trust is one of life's most difficult tasks.
Good Day!!!
You are right, we dont trust people because either we dont know them (and assume them un-trustworthy) or we know everything about them(declared them un-trustworthy). But it is not the way our religion taught us. We have to trust a mass majority of people until n unless we are sure about their traits.
Allah has instructed us to fulfill our promises and our commitments. In Surah Al-Mu’minun (The Believers), Allah says:
“Those who are faithfully true to their trusts and to their covenants; and those who strictly guard their prayers. These are indeed the inheritors who shall inherit Paradise.” (Al Qur’an,23:8-11)
We should remember that our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was called “Al-Amin”: The Trustworthy Person. He never betrayed anyone, and he never lied in his life. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) explained to us that the following items are part of the trusts that we have to fulfill: salat, ablution, weighing, measures, deposits, private talks, advising, just to name a few. In one Hadith, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) informed us to fulfill Amanah even if the other party is not trustworthy. “Discharge the settlement to those who entrusted you, and don’t betray even the one who broke his promise.” Masnad Ahmad and Sunan Abu Dawood
Our beloved Prophet (pbuh) has taught us that whoever does not fulfill his promises does not have faith and does not have religion. In one Hadith, he said: “There is no faith for the one who has no trust, and there is no religion for the one that does not fulfill his promises.” Masnad Ahmad
Wallahu alam Bissawab (And ALLAH knows the best)
We know people that helps us to trust or not to trust them.It is the level of inetegrity, relaibility and honesty that one confides in a person or thing.
We surely are living in times which our Prophet Mohammad PBUH has forecasted.
I think both conditions are applicable in today’s world – we are reluctant to trust people because we do not know them or know them too well. For the second part, I think the time is already here as told by Holy Prophet (PBUH). We are clever enough not to trust the people we do not know but we still get cheated…only by the people we trust so much.
Yes you right in saying so. One cannot trust those whom you do not know if they are trust worthy. Similarly one cannot trust those whom you know very well that they are untrust worthy.
Therefore build trust first before trusting.
If you know for sure someone is NOT trustworthy, then do NOT trust him/her ... for sure !
But to generalize the rule above and apply it across the line to everyone will be of negative impact on almost everything in our personal, social and professional lives. When you do NOT know someone, and you want to deal with him/her, take all precautions and all possible measures to protect yourself before placing your trust in this person. But to say stop all dealings with these people you do NOT trust because you do NOT know them is a bit too much Notice that in real life, if two parties do NOT know each other and do NOT trust each other, they can still go through a third party that is known and trustworthy to both of them Last point ,,, regarding the Hadeeth , can you please put the text in Arabic ???I would iike to see it
YES....
.......IT,S THE TIME RASOOL ALLAH (PBUH) MENTIONED
