What would you do if you discovered that your team members were about to present an unauthentic report one day before the final presentation?

As a part of the team work I won't accept this no matter what..as per that it's before one day of the final presentation ill make sure that we all re - do it again from the beginning even if I had to work the whole day but I won't submit this report.and later on ill talk about what happened and get to know the reason that made my team do this!

But till I submit the right, correct report ill always be there to support and do all my job right!

Without hesitation I would give them an ultimatum, tell the truth, change the presentation or I will "whistleblow" without any compunction at all.

if you are a team leader the actions of any team member is your responsibility.you can never allow such action,gather the team and work as a whole to prepare an authentic report asap.

always work on getting things right the first time, never settle for less.

First show for them their mistake and correct the final report ,every thing should be true

Ok this question is situational and to  judge you may need to know is this the fiest time to do this or only this time and also depend on how you trust your team in future  and how you evaluate their past period so before your evaluation and judgment you should restart again with them doing the right presentation with their real information because wrong information always leads to disasters in work.

Help them to prepare the correct one.

I will talk with them and try to convince them of their wrongdoing. I will tell them that I will spend extra time with them preparing an authentic report to present it in due time. If not, I will report the matter immediately to the supervisor.

Ofcourse, I will analyse and help in rectifying the errors in report. I would discuss with him and make counselling and try to get his problem solved. It would be in the best interest of the company that there employee perform at there maximum efficiency.

If it is1 day before the deadline, i would give them all the help that they would need from me to repair their mistake, because at the end they are still my team and if they lose, i lose, and i don't like to lose. I wish i was helpful. :)
