The Output of any programme Activities is only possible when all the conditions required for running the programme are being updated.
if activities are not programmed, project completion dates may be unrealistic. If these activities are not programmed the project leader may not understand the influence of these activities on overall project completion and may not be in a position to take corrective actions if delays occur.
The common practice always shows deviation between prospected plan and actual project pace. Realty on site always supersedes and governs day to day must taken decisions. It is like using autopilot while an extremely trained pilot should be thoroughly alert.
Updating Actual Accomplishment will enable PM to monitor day to day progress, handle emerging risks, and keep project on plan and budget.
