How to convert Text into polylines in AutoCAD without using any LISP script.
Open your AutoCAD project and click "Express Tools" in the menu.
Step 2Click the "Modify Text" drop-down menu in the toolbar and select "Explode."
Step 3Click the text that you want to change into polylines. The insides of the letters are covered in crossing lines, indicating you have selected the text.
Step 4Press "Enter" on your keyboard to convert the text to polylines.
I agree with all above answers. you can also use short command "TXTEXP"
Express tools, "explode text". Converts selected text to2D polylines
Yes Azhar but that creates weird lines at some junctions and those are unwanted, and also it is not that precise. Thanks for your input btw.
