The CPU is comprised of three main parts:
ALU (Arithmetic Logic Unit): Does the actual logical comparisons that need to be processed.
Control Unit: Can execute or store the results coming out of the ALU.
Registers: Stores the data that is to be executed next

There are many components of CPU , this includes Bio battery, Hard drive, Floppy drive, Cd/DVD rom/writer ,Memory, Processor, Power supply, this are the mains ones.
المعالج يتألف من جزئين رئيسيين هما:
- وحدة التحكم (CU):
تقوم وحدة التحكم بإرشاد أجزاء الكمبيوتر الاخرى عن كيفية تنفيذ تعليمات البرامج المختلفة. توجه وحدة التحكم جريان الإشارات الإلكترونية بين الذاكرة المركزية (التي تحتوي على البيانات المؤقتة والتعليمات و نتائج المعالجة) ووحدة الحساب والمنطق (ALU). كما تقوم وحدة التحكم بتوجيه الإشارات بين وحدة التحكم و أجهزة الإدخال و الإخراج.
- وحدة الحساب و المنطق (ALU):
كما يشير اسمها، تقوم هذه الوحدة بتنفيذ العمليات الحسابية والمنطقية.
العمليات الحسابية تضم العمليات الحسابية: الجمع، الطرح، الضرب و التقسيم.
العمليات المنطقية هي عمليات مقارنة: حيث يمكن مقارنة قيمتين لتحديد اذا كانت القيمة الأولى تساوي (=)، أصغر (>) أو أكبر (<) من القيمة الثانية.

Dear, the CPU is The most significant components of computer is its Central Processing Unit or Processor. The processor is the heart and brain of the computer system. The more powerful the processor, the faster the system goes. Processor power is often measured by its clock frequency (on the computer slang - clock speed) in MHz or GHz. However, clock speed alone may not be the determining factor. Real speed of such functions as calculation or data acquisition for processors with1 GHz and2 GHz, can differ essentially by less than2 times. Best way to choose a processor is through an analysis of its rate. Most modern electronic devices (TVs, VCRs, microwaves, watches and so on) contain an embedded microcontroller. It's basically a dedicated computer.
