Does academic performance predict things as "stardom", "excellence", "mediocrity" or "failure"?
Nothing can predict future, even academic abilities. There are always many impressing aspects . Thats why EQ's theory could be come popular than IQ's theory, and perhaps there will be another theory developed.
Khatim I agree with Hamad and Irphan, not always/necessarily, the world, as we know, is full of contradictions. I have nothing scientific to go on but I would hazard a guess and say that academic abilities and quaiifications (or lack of) would be good "indicators" about75% of the time! I stand ready to be corrected on that!!! Bad luck in Brazil by the way!
Uncertain, yet if he is in same field then for sure he will grasp things much easily then others. Most of the times you work in non academic areas....
May be some time but not always. Practical is much important.
Not always.
Not necessarily.. I have plenty of stars at studies failing to make good careers, similarly college dropouts creating wonders at their jobs or businesses....
from experience not exactly.
i know many very successfull businessmen who have not had their share of education.
Academic performance may vary due to lo of factors and may not really impact your "stardom", "excellence", "mediocrity" or "failure".
It is You and Your attitude which Groom or Doom you. Everything starts with you; even the university dropouts have succeeded very well in this world.
some time it could be but not necessary
