Surgical excentration of disease -intact canal wallor canal wall down procedure depending on surgical observation and radiological extent. Regular followup to look for recurrence given the nature of the disease.

Mastoidectomy: In such surgery the affected bone of the masoid and other temporal bone partes should be completely resected together with the cholesteatoma.

The aim of the surgery to have infection free ear.

reconstruction of middle ear to get good hearing should be a secondary goal.

Cholesteatoma of the ear usually means surgery will be needed.

According the site and size of cholesteatoma the surgery will be tailored. Mastoidectomy mostly will be needed whether Radical or complete. In Some other cases atticotomy only may be needed
