There is a term called "teachertainer". This takes the words teacher and entertainer and puts them together. This is where we assume teachers are actors because they are teachertaining for students. The teacher gets up in front of a class and makes students more enthusiatic about their education experiences by puting on a show. Teachertainer is usually refering to the classroom performance of a teacher. It looks into the presentation style of a teacher. However, the word actor only addresses the surface. Actors just play characters or parts, but when the show is over they go back to their real lives. True teachers are not actors. They may act, but they are not actors, because teaching is a career and life decision that embodies a teacher's soul in everything he or she does and it does not end just because a teacher is not in a classroom. Teachers must grade papers, understand their students, and work with parents and other staff members to meet common goals. There is more to being a teacher than just putting on a show like an actor.
