Hi Themali

I totally agree with Sunil but, all such certificates (such as IIBA's and PMI's Certificates) actually provides a best practice along with a lot of theoretical methods, procedure, and may be templates, which can be applied if and only if your entire team members accept doing their tasks based on such great standards.

As per my long experience in many levels of companies I worked with, they all prefer to do their tasks as easy as it possible, and if they need to show that they know and they use such best practices then they uses the minimum and mostly copy and paste wherever they can. Even managers nowadays prefer to provide them colored diagrams with few pages as textual standard document, which mostly they will read the first few bold lines in it.

But why we must have it, because on the other hand those managers ( who are not reading) always stress on the recruiter or HR department to provide them a professionals with certificates.

Let me summarize it, your certificate can be the best support for you if you really works with standard team, otherwise your certificate is a best support for you to have a nice decorated CV not more. Practically it might increase your output quality up to10% - this if followed. So in both cases we have to have it.
