Water (moisture) has a higher K-value as compared to PU foam. Therefore, with a higher moisture content, the insulation offered by PU foam is compromised via conduction of electrons through the moisture particles. Having93% closed cell formation, the ISO in PU foam will be replaced by moisture over time, thereby decreasing the R-value of the foam gradually
