The best way to handle a stressful task is be caught up on all training and knowledge about how to do your job.  You need to own your job.  You need to be masterful in every aspect of your job.  This way, nothing is a surprise, nothing catches you off guard, and most importantly, you will have the confidence to carry through your duties without any trouble. However, there are always intense moments that pop up from time-to-time.  In these times, you need to stay calm.  You need to break down the larger task into smaller pieces and then sort them based on priority.  Once you've figured out the order in which to handle those pieces, you can focus all your effort on each step until you've reached the end and completely took care of the issue at hand.

Comparing to an larger scale operation one needs to have knowlendge about the market competition, suppliers, buyers out side as wll.
