Check your motherboard documentation for compatible processors. Once you have decided which processor to use then get some good thermal paste and replace your processor. Make a thin layer of Thermal paste on your processor, Place your heat sink and lock it. After installation check your processor temperature to see if its not heating up and run some processor stress test. If everything comes ok then you are good to go.
