I am amazed about bayt.com's new look and social streams. Guys! Do you think social initiatives can take over other social networking sites? Do you agree?

There seems to be a need to find new and innovative ways to interact with people.
Social media helps to put a face and an individual perspective on things.
Its nice a site like Bayt is introducing Social Media.
For a job hunting site, it is the next logical step

Well yes its a good Idea, but if im a Bayt decision maker, I'll be worry of the public profile feature! With time, especially with non-stable economic situations, HR departments may get smarter, or lets say may try to reduce cost more, they will start hunting talents through those public profiles.
Here is a scenario: I'm searching for a web developer, I'll do the following:
1- start Google.com,
2- Search for site:http://people.bayt.com web developer.

3- I got 153000 results.

4- I'll view profiles, do a short list.

5- Now I'll open linkedin, search for the shortlisted people, I'll find 50% of them with public contact details, while I can add others to my network to contact them, or do it through inmail messages! They need to think of someway to hide some details!

Roba , I meant that non-social sites are coming over with social features to catch up with "Be-Social-Or-Die" competition...
In this case , i guess after Bayt added social streams and commenting, they acquired I guess a considerable number of news users.
