THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A MENTOR AND A TEACHER / MANAGER, A MENTOR IS MUCH LIKE YOUR FRIEND GUIDING AND SHOWING THE RIGHT PATH.
SO THIS THING COMES FROM INSIDE.
ALTHOUGH IF YOU NEED SOME GUIDANCE GO FOR,"Managers as Mentors: Building Partnerships for Learning0003 Edition" BY Chip R.
Bell, Marshall Goldsmith.
IT WILL HELP YOU.

Books are not the answer.
It comes from inside.
When you know your subject and the individual or group you wish to mentor, you have to show them at their pace.
There is a saying, "Those that can do, those that can't teach, those that can do both ensure the future of our industry".
Book are like Degrees, here for today because tomorrow everything changes.

A book does not provide you with answers to lead an organization but guidelines. As a leader you must initiate, innovate and also being able to analyse situations and respond accordingly. Leaders who tend to stick to book theories tend to end in a dire situation difficult to uproot themselves.
