over inflated tyres would damage the shocks as well as the shock-bushes , it also causes reduced road grip so that means reduced braking effficiency and increased acceleration would cause screaching, it can also make the tyre burst in extreme sunny conditions, And In ice the vehicle's chances of slipping are way more higher , some people over inflates their vehicle tyres due following reasons,1) it allows softer stearing due to lesser friction involved ,2) due to less friction theres lesser drag force so increased fuel economy , but the cons are way more than the pros
