Is it compulsory that a fresh graduate on his first day of job / internship know all the IAS /IFRS unless until he used to apply them during practice?

It is depend on institute from where the student get certificate or degree. Some intitute give many case studies to there students so they have some knowlege before start work but if some studend have no idea so it is not a problem because you go for internship to get experience and knowledge.but by suggession is take interest to get more knowledge and focus on key area of accounting and dont lose momentum,
