It is a good idea to use either of MS Project files, Excel Sheets or Powerpoint to report project status to Senior Management.

Keep the report brief and sum up the key points in the project. Recommend this simple format on a maximum of2 pages:

Report Date.

Overall Status.

Project Summary.

Key Issues.

Identified Risks.

Tasks and Next Steps.

Decisions Needed.

Key Future Dates.

Budgeted Cost.

Spend to Date.

Kindly let me know if you have further questions please.
