A lot of the people, I have seen which didn't like to share experiences with new employees. They hide their skills and show a little or easy work as a very difficult. Even they told me that you can not do this. What is the reason of such unlikely actions.
I believe the basic reason is fear. Between people there is always the fear of the "new". The new employee is treated mostly with reservedness because the old employess fear that maybe they will be replaced if the new one learns all what they know. It's a basic human reaction and you can find it everywhere.
What people think is that they took a long time to gain this experience and that they have sacrificed a lot for it so why give it to someone new. They also fear that the new employee will know how things go and by then they will take their position or they will lose the respect and image that they built.
People are not always blamed for that but companies too. Some companies hire people to extract the experience out of the old employees and by then they can let go the old ones and upgrade the new employee. The point here is cost reduction mainly.
First i think any person who don't like to share anything not only experinces is (( Abnormal Man )) meaning no one all over thee world reach up any top or any place or any title without inter-act with many people and gain his / her experinces as no one born expert in his / her filed , finally i wish for who ever don't like to share is to apply the concept (( Knowledge Has No Limit )) as you can anything from a little baby till an old person , but even you can gain knowledge from a look from or action any person without even talk.
I absolutely agree with Mrs Smaragdi. Also:the person who does not like to share his experiences with others is aselfish person always likes to take without giving so I want to ask those people, did you forget that you were not anything in the past, and learned from others
Exprence and knowledge is developed with sharing to other .But this fear is out of my mind and out of knoledge for the profeshnals this unlikely action.
A teacher (Anyone rich with experience) share his experiences, but a student (anyone whoes exposure is comparatively limited) only with their close friends....this a problem of Maturity of mind. All answers quoted above are relevant in this respect and need be valued.
I agree with what you say, but more prevalent the Middle because of the reactionary ideas inherited - but for me I do not do this
They are worry that they will incontestably. It has been public secret about competition between employees in workplace. It is common act of the senior/ old employees. Even when they said that we cant do this, we just need to concern to the possitive side on their dirrections and taking the points which are important for our duties while we adapt it with our personal knowledge to handle the duties.We just need to maintain and trying to build relationship with them, so they will be comfort with us and they will share by themselves afterward.
The people who don"t like to share their experience they doubt on their experience and he fear to give them a test and if they show their experience so they also give them a demo of their expericence so they can not do that.........:)

The main reason they do not share their experiences is because they see the new employee as a treat to them, they fear they will be replaced by them.
