5. Listen to what the customer says ; take notes if required.
6. After he completes, ask him open questions so that you may mentally filter down his exact needs.
7. After completion, re state what he has said and have it confirmed.
8. Speak to him in a friendly manner so that you create a bonding; so that even if has no present requirements he will contact you as soon as he gets any.
9. Lastly, send him an email later in the day thanking for is time and that you will get back to him when required at the earliest
