Don't we have hide and unhide commands in InDesign, the we have in illustrator??

When creating layouts this facility is very useful, (ask any one who has used Illustrator extensively for making designs). So why is this feature not available in InDesign? or is it hidden somewhere in the menu?

Indesign do have hide/unhide commands.Just select the object  then go to:

 

OBJECT>HIDE/UNHIDE

in InDesign we you use this in newspapers + magazines and pages written mostly they are better than  illustrator which is used in other things like work and in posters and other Animated
