Many companies think they are the same. Some introduced these terms just to play with salaries. But what is the real difference?

These roles are highly contingent and situational , as the role changes from company to company

Account Managers responsible for managing and retaining existing business, and identify opportunity to grow within existed clients. in Some places also responsible for developing new clients. 

Account executive is more concern with executing day-to-day affairs and ensuring customer satisfaction of assign specific group of key clients. works as assistant to account manager. 

Sales Executives ensures their Sales Team executes the strategy developed by Marketing or Account Manager. sales executive normally used for closing new leads  through a combination of developing their own pipeline through outbound activity and processing in-bound leads.
