You never forget a good teacher. Long after a student has moved on, the good things a teacher taught will be remembered throughout each phase of life. Also teachers can leave a not so good impression on a student and the consequences can affect students sometimes to their detriment. So it is important to be conscious of how teachings can affect and influence students' lives.

Sometimes we are so inspired by a teacher that we don't miss to quote him when we get a suitable opportunity. This is recognition of the effort of a teacher.
