Just being by practical can we balance our ego ? because its impossible to balance the ego of consumer. Right now facing such a problem. Provide your useful and practical suggestion ?
Do separate yourself on the job and direct interest in the client..You need to train yourself self training
Replace EGO with HUMILITY as every situation handling is a learning opportunity for self.

One needs to control his emotions, ego in his professional life and have patience while dealing with customers. This doesn't come easily, it needs to have some practice as well as trainings... Usually HRs organize such trainings to their employees...
Try to know what is your level of ego before you become a critic to others.If we are able to tame our ego and use it with purpose it will be a great tool to work with.
Eveybody has an ego. Ego is part of the self just as a shadow is a part of a person. If a person is overly egoistic it may be a problem but otherwise everyone likes to have their ego satisfied to feel good about themselvs. So if it does'nt bother you too much give the egoistic person respect and show a little extra courtesy. This should make them easier to deal with.
There is nothing called ego by default, no one is born with ego it is acquired by individual during the life course , it is a virus , a communicable virus which influences us when we start achieving things and others don't. It is next to impossible to satisfy EGO , the more you try to satisy EGO of others the more they will demand and expect. So better try to deal with it by remaining straight-forward and upright in your dealings and transactions. One may feel he is superior at times with success and money but remember it is temporary . I feel one should try to remain moderate in everything to counter EGO of self and others. In a company of bads you will unconsciously acquire it so better keep safe distance .
Our need determine how to balance.
1- Open a space for open discusssing with your self first and with the customer.
2- Respect and trust your and the customer knowledge
that will distroy the egoism when & where ever you are.
