Training is very important to learn skills, but without practice it will be just a theoretical ideas ... Junior Leaders always asks themselves; what is the best way to enhance my leadership? What do YOU think?
First of all, you need to have a guidance “Coach".
Second, you need to develop your leadership skills by attending training sessions about Leadership Skills and how to enhance it.
Third, read several books about the leadership " one of the best books named " Monday Morning Leadership " you can download it from link - http://www.frumi.com/wp-content/uploads/MondayMorningLeadership2010.pdf "
Last and the most important, Practice, Practice and Practice “Practice Makes perfection”

I see that leadership is more enhanced by practice especially if you put the effort to learn from it. Training is required to grasp the theoritical background.
First read, learn, take training. Then practice it regularly.
Leadership skills as many other professional skills need practices and learning from any past deviation from target.
The best leadership relation is built up on transparency and anticipation of the team members to the project tasks with providing the advised tools.
I believe that strong aptitude towards learning is the basic requirement for enhancing leadership skills. Once we develop this aptitude then we can apply different methodologies to acquire related information and in the last we have to apply it continuously to practice. This is the sequence of enhancing your leadership skills. Anyone component that is missing will derail the entire phenomenon and you can't progress.

I like to add that there are various leadership styles so, understanding your leadership style will help you better understand your strengths as well as areas that need some improvement. Once you honestly analyze yourself and define areas that need some work, you can begin looking for ways/strategies to improve your leadership abilities. For example, if you have the "I'm right, you're wrong" attitude then may be start portraying disagreement as simply a difference of opinion. If others feel attacked by you then your strategy would be may be to start pointing out areas of agreement before jumping on areas of disagreement to reduce defensivness, etc.
You first train to be a leader then practice it and then implement your leadership skills from the knowledge you have acquired through trainings and practicals.and with time as practice makes perfect you will be a perfect leader
Regardless of age and experience, leadership can be strengthened and enhanced through learning, practice, feedback, role models, and coaching.
