The very simple problem is when u install exchange on a clean server replecating with DC and suddenly there is a huge problem in exchange in it's services and starting.
errors in event log etc.
u r doing all your tests specifically network tests packets flow is right but the problem is the driver of the network card.
A lot of people restore images and restore backup to solve this problem and at the end it's very simple and see it a lot specifically after windows updates so take care.
My best regards

Local Continuous Replication is Gone.
If you loved the idea of having two copies of the same Exchange database on the same server in case your cheapo (or expensive) disk crashed, stick with Exchange2007.
As part of the simplification and extension of high availability, local continuous replication bit the dust.
Microsoft's answer: Go get another server instead.
