What are 'quality circles' ?

The concept of quality circles usually consists from group of people their ideal number from eight to ten member, mostly are a volunteers they are working together in the same workplace, they meet at intervals to discuss the workplace improvement , and discuss the problems to provide a solutions that related to their workplace. Maybe these group can't present a  solutions for all problems of company. but on my opinion they are trying through their continuous effort to present the best and supporting concept of quality, and reinforce the concept of team spirit ,They are facing any problem through some steps define exactly what is the problem .analysing the problem and all details.define the direct and indirect causes.define, quantify impact of a given problemunderstand the quality objectivesensuring to find the solutions.

Participative management technique within the framework of a companywide quality system in which small teams of (usually6 to12) employees voluntarily form to define and solve a quality or performance related problem. In Japan (where this practice originated) quality circles are an integral part of enterprise management and are called quality control circles.
