"Go with the Flow" which is in your favor or made you Successful  OR "Swim against the Current" which is destroying you or create  hurdles in your path..never loose hope and always keep fighting.

Mmmmm...I agree with Mr. Scott as it does depend on your personality and lifestyle. It also depends on the situation. One situation may need you to go with the flow as you may lose a lot if you fight against it. Another may need fighting against the flow as maybe you are defending a belief or point of view and this will make you feel rewarded when you find that went a great distance forward in the direction you want.

Swim against the current when you are confident, and go with the flow when you really have no choice..

It depends purely on your "nature" as a human being, your makeup, your DNA. To quote one of the well used idioms on this forum, "horses for courses"! It's a finite part of our characters which determines whether or not we will go with the flow or swim against the current! For these reasons it is an almost impossible question to answer Khatim as you will always have opposing opinions, if we accept these opposites as a fact of life, who then determines which "path" is the more rewarding? Who, effectively, arbitrates for or against?

It is the choice for the direction itself:

  1. The current leads towards the target shore, then swim with.
  2. The current leads to the worse condition, them swim against.

Swimming against the current is not recommended in the proper situation, but is obligatory in risk condition due to a hope of life secure at least.

Life itself not moving in one direction it’s a3 dimensional flow where every day brings more challenges and hardship in this competitive period. Rewards will come even you flow with any direction like by sincerity or cheating, giving or stealing hiding or showing. This life has strange cycle where everyone playing his own game with his own rules even Guide lines, rules, regulation, text books, instructions are printed everywhere. The true path is to follow the straightway but people using shortcut to reach the target quickly so some of them reach with rewards and some of them become looted by thieves who are sitting for their own rewards .

Do the best what a person can do , follow the way which is right and straight, keep confidence high to achieve your target, never make yourself down if you fail, bravery and risks even on the direction of flow or against flow will bring rewards but faith on God is necessary and the way we are thinking and believing we get the same rewards. Luck is the unforgettable factor in this struggling arena.

Rewarding in what sense? You feel better? you get more money? depends on what you feel is more rewarding and how you think your life needs to be.

But I understand your question, up till now I have more or less always swam agaist the current,  sometimes it helps, but you get tired of it. You nt only swim against the current, people are holding your legs......

It has always been my beliefe that swimming against the flow -if done correctly- will be more rewarding, if you look at all the major breakthroughs in science and technology, it will be because scientests and inventors challenged the norms.

The higher risk,,, The higher the reward.
