There are some things you can follow prior to sales call.
1: Research and learn every thing about product you going to offer.
2: Research and learn every possible thing about client and their business.
3. prepare strategy and identify at least three USP points.
4. Make sure you have collected every presentation material.
5. Be prepare for worst and win scenario.
- Define the goal of the sales call
- Learn your (prospect) customer wel: his business, needs, competition,
- Know who are you going to talk to: His name, his position, his influence on the decision making,
- Check your database to get the history of the customer and his business relationship with your company
- Prepare what you want to offer to the customer
- What things do you need to know during your sales call
- Know your competitor(s)
- Make sure you have all printed brochures and information about your product
- Make sure you have with you a summery list of the customer's history, previous contract,
- Make sure you get on time
- Make sure you are dressed well, look good, smell god (don't smoke)...
