Thank you all for the response. I am sure, apart from the industry knowledge they have, most of the participants are experts in their own domain. I personally feel, it would be very helpful to all in general and to the young aspirants in particular, if the answers also have some elements of experience sharing from the particular domain we operate in context to the question.

It varies business to business so ratio not going to be same Both traditional and nontraditional marketing have advantages and disadvantages. But Both are important digital marketing more effective in interactive, individualized and responsive nature .
The new generation favours more for Digital Marketing where the personalised selection of an item is not required.
The Old generation they still prefer the traditional platform--they show some resistance for the changed atmosphere and it may take one more generation for the transformation. Though with positive thinking they require some more advanced knowledge about digital marketing
For all the necessities Digital platform is not advisable.
A combination of both Digital and Traditional Platform seems to be more appropriate.

Taking a final call on if to follow digital or traditional marketing techniques is purely product and location oriented. For example, in a city like Dubai if you are wanting to market your products then we may opt for40% digital and60% traditional techniques which involves hoardings,ATL and BTL where as in a region where the infrastructure support traditional marketing techniques more, i think we should opt for traditional techniques. Through a customer point of view, traditional techniques are more communicative compared to digital. For Eg: A hoarding on a highway is visible to everyone who passes through...
Unfortunately, there is no best way in the current landscape. The ratio will depend on your brand, nature and attributes of your customers, competitors and the resources your company has. If you can defiine them, and then it will be crystal clear to see what strategy you should use.
