The target customers of Fastfood chains are children so they spend much money in order to attract them. McDonalds in the Philippines do have the so called "Happy Meal" for children and it contains toys.

The success of an advertisement is to bring people close to your business premises.  Any persuations on the child-hood has a direct impact on their parents.  The grapevine communication among children also multiply the publicity they required. All together the flow of customers once established retained and continued.....

Yes, because the target market of fast food chains is focused on children and young adults only.  They have no appeal to the upper age group, particularly those belonging in the higher income bracket or business class.  However, to suggest that eating habits form in childhood and, thus, maybe imply to capture and retain patronage I am in the opposing view.  Especially, that people easily lose interest for something that's been there quite a while.  People tend to go on adventure and wanting to try something new the reason there's always a fad.  Nonetheless, the marketing strategy of fast food chains to focus on children is very appropriate based on target market.

I beg to differ in opinion.  I'd rather say that in terms of food choices, children influence their parents' buying habits.  Fast food chains, therefore, capitalize on this fact.  Thus, they design their advertising campaigns and promotional efforts on this permise.

Yes, Fast food chains spend a large amount of marketing to get the attention of children because they are the easy targets to get attracted towards the products and thus to promote sale.
