With the advancement of technology nowadays, communication is already digital and the use of paper has been replaced with e-documents. Is it good to just abolish offices and everyone will just work at home? Is it going to be convenient and cost efficient? Or are we not ready yet for this idea?

It won't work.
There are some jobs that can be done from home. But most of the jobs NO. There are many sources of distraction at home. There is no way to have a good grip on performance and monitor activities.
Besides, you will loose the team workt, team spirit and of course the learning process between employees will fanish.
Does your business offer employees the ability to work remotely?
as we are in the 21 century, technology has developed all kind of jobs and we can work some jobs form home but not all jobs as some time we nedd our physical presence to do it
I love the idea of being able to work from home but some jobs need your physical presence at the workplace, field or office.
This is not applicable to all jobs I believe . The advancement in technology has very positive sides it's true but going to office every day ensures face to face communication and team solidarity feelings . We , human beings , are not machines . We need to get together and exchange ideas face to face . A communication process without voice tone , eye contact and facial expressions is very insufficient I believe .
I think that doing a perfect job is not a matter of the work place it's a matter of how to carry on your tasks in an effecient and a professional way.
