By measuring the success of your subordinates or staff. Your success as a manager will not mainly depend on the goals that you have achieved, deadlines that you have met, or the work that you have done by yourself, your team should also have the credit for completing a job, your growth is best measured by the growth of your staff personally and professionally. Being a manager is not all about the position, it involves an ongoing effort to lead and inspire people to become better, if your team has that kind of growth and achievement, then you are an effective manager.
