Gentle People, Please share your experiences at Bayt for Job applications. Did you ever been interviewed for a job you applied at Bayt?

Thank you all for answering this question. My personal experience is same as yours, unfortunately none of the employer ever contacted me. similar to others, there are other reasons that I visit the site as well (Specialties-- which helps me to expand my knowledge)..

I am one of the hopefuls :-)

Few numbers those needs to be considered here prior to concluding on the effectiveness of the service provider (though approximate) for getting a job in one of the GCC countries.

No. of registered members                                                                                :  1 million +

No. of jobs available                                                                                            :10,000

Approx no. of applications received for an opening on an average            :300 +

Other sources available to the recruiter in addition to Bayt                           : Internal referrals, Market referrals, other job portals, H R Consultants, Recruiters internal database etc.

Other important pointers

Relevancy offered by Bayt is not necessarily the relevancy expected by the recruiter. As Bayt works on few general parameters only and not tuned into a recruiter’s actual requirement.  

No service charges for registration and channelizing our application to an intended recruiter

Regular updates and e-mail service to all registered members at no cost

Registered members generally quit visiting bayt once the job has been landed. It means most of the members active are the ones still searching for a new opportunity. And chances of positive feedback become even bleaker to such a question.

People viewing this question are a very minuscule percentage of the total members registered. The conclusions arrived from respondents may not reflect the reality.

So far, I have been interviewed for one job only that I were applied to it at Bayt.

Not Yet.  But I am receiving either face to face or phone interviews from other Job search sites such as CareerBuilder.com, Dice.com, and Monster.com, and I am busy dealing with interviews.

I have only around  One month Interaction through Bayt.com,,,I am not a right  person which I think, to reply for this....Any way the feed back may do some good for the entire participants  I hope...
