Can you tell me as a teacher about a successful behaviour management strategy you have used in the past that helped engage a pupil or group of pupils?

I used games as a method to make the students understand the new information easily and it really worked and engage them. I used the XO game to reinforce the past tense irregular verbs. And i used picture games to let them use the perfect tense correctly by creating sentences about the picture. There are so many games which are easy to use and enjoyable. Good luck.
