Hi.. Inbound Process is where 'customer calls in'.. or in other words calls are received. Most inbound processes may be Customer Service or Tech support where customer calls in to get their queries answered or issue resolved. Most of the time after resolving concerns a sales pitch is also done to up-sell or least to educate customer about other services offered.

Outbound Process is where 'calls are made out to customers', mostly sales calls or "Telemarketing / Telesales" process are done thru Outbound processes.
