This  may be based on the classes of customers you deal with and the style of approach required to make all classes satisfied.  A Multi-level Management Team in Structure is a good option and may do well for the Overall development and growth.

I think it depends on the number of your sales staff and their distribution (per geographical area, product, market segment and customer types)
