Hi Mohammed, after a vacation it is normal to be demotivated to some extent.
But if it starts to disturb you then there is something more to look at.
You should take some time during the weekend to think what it is that you want, are you doing what you want to do and be honest to yourself.
Our sub cousiousness plays tricks with us sometimes and for a reason.
It takes us time to admit the obvious, because we humans are masters of excuses to ourselves.
Good luck, everything will sort out, you'll see!

There is no need to worry about such temporary phase in your life.  Everyone goes through this problem.  As you mentioned, you are back to work from vacation.  Generally, it is expected that you get refreshed.

But the truth is, your mind was free while you were out of the office.  This is the state that your mind will be even after your join work at least for a week.  Once your mind adjust to the normal routine of work, then you will proceed as you used to be.  The point here is to give it time.

It is similar to the situation when you are travelling by plane.  You feel jet-lagged, even though you are out of the plane.  It takes at least2 to3 days, as it varies from one person to another, to come out of it.

So, if you are back on your feet within a week, you need not worry.  If it crosses this time period, then just sit quietly in a quiet environment and analyse yourself as a person.  For eg : Are you bored?  Are you looking for something new to challenge yourself?  Are you home-sick or depressed?  and so on.  Depending on what you find out, take the necessary action to overcome that problem.

You never know, it could be hormonal problems too, because as you get older (men or women), it is normal for everyone to feel less energised than how they were when they were younger.  The point is to relax and charge your mental power by thinking of pleasant things.  Try to understand where is your current work is and from where you have to pick up.  Take it slow and you will see, it is very easy to adjust.

All the best.

Some times after coming back from vacations people feel bit lazy, its doesn't mean you are de-motivated.
its just the lack of routine in work.
once you will start doing your work and routine is set again you will feel involved and motivated.
its normal.

Dear Mohammed.
Please try to discover whether are there any more reasons for your lack of motivation.
I think it is not only vacation back syndrome.
How long have you been working in the same company? There is another possibility that you are bored from your job like me huh :) ?

no it isn't normal there are alot of thing that causes frustration and disappointing and you should do tasks which includes Skill Variety to improve your skills and feel motivated Task Identity to know what is the outcome of what r u doing task Significance to know how are what r u doing is important to the people Autonomy to have some authority Feedback to know what's your boss opinion in what r u doing these things may be motivation way if it is found and dimotvation if not found if it have no result with u try Job Rotation with one of your teammates
