Generally. When such factors combine then it is expected to have desired results but some time we need to alter certain things. We too need empowerment and continuous communication/feedback from manager in order to have consistent performance.
An employee can improve his performance through different means, provided he is satisfied with his job. If he is satisfied with his job, he will be fully motivated and willing to move on managing his time and work duties efficiently. He can sharpen his skills and get new ones through training courses and other educational, and learning methods.
Simply said, efficiency in managing time, work tasks, and skills through different means will bring about improved performance. An employee would efficiently manage the previously mentioned things if he could find job satisfaction!
