The first step towards improving the job performance is to have a positive mental attitude at work. You should have interest and passion for the work you do.

You should be able to prioritize tasks and things at your work.

To improve performance at work you must have the ability to set priorities and to separate the relevant from the irrelevant when facing the many tasks of the day. You must also possess a sense of urgency, the ability to get the job done fast. But you should be able to maintain high quality.

Improve performance at work by continually upgrading your work-related skills. Go for some trainings or additional course and improve yourself.

Employees can improve their performance through various ways like;

1-      Communicating them the expected performance,

2-      Providing them required resources(time, physical tools/equipment  or knowledge)

3-      Conducive environment to produce results.

If he is satisfied with his job, he will be fully motivated and willing to move on managing his time and work duties efficiently. He can sharpen his skills and get new ones through training courses and other educational, and learning methods.

 

Simply said, efficiency in managing time, work tasks, and skills through different means will bring about improved performance. An employee would efficiently manage the previously mentioned things if he could find job satisfaction!
