I'm usually happy for them. I can imagine feeling jealous if I thought someone got promoted to a position that I would be better suited for, but that hasn't happened yet.
If you feel jealous on the success of your colleague / co-worker, then it specifies that you lack professional abilities. If you prove your abilities then you will surely get promoted too. Jealousy is not a solution to any problem.
Although jealousy is generally a disruptive emotion. Your colleague success can prompt you to work even harder to realize your full potential. Instead of becoming mired in jealousy, you look at the successful person as a role model who motivates you to improve.
JEALOUSY IS ONE OF HUMAN ERROR ,,,, EVERY ONE FEELS & REACTS AT TIMES BUT ITS YOUR ATTITUDE WHICH MAKES THE DIFFERENCE........ HOW YOU CONTROL IT AND FOCUS ON REAL CORE ATTRIBUTES .............. TAKE IT AS CHALLENGE & MOVE ON ,,, WHAT SHORT COMINGS ARE STILL THERE IN YOUR HARD WORK & EFFICIENCY ??? ====== GOOD DAY SARA
Feeling jealous about colleagues create negative environment and it ultimately effects you because you are also part of office environment. Accepting co-workers being promoted with open mindedness creates a positive environment.
As far as I am concerned I feel motivated to perform well when such things happen around me. I try to contribute positively even in the process of recommendation of my colleagues for promotion. Being a team member I feel it my success when any of my team member gets promoted and appreciated.
No i always Welcome.
Actually I hate to label people as “toxic”, but I can’t think of a better word for people who tease you, make fun of your positive life choices, and don’t support your goals or respect the time and effort you spend to achieve them.
In my experience, it’s not that these people are cruel and out to get you. The real issue is that your success signals their failure.
If that colegue is my friend and loved one, I feel happy and hug him and ask him to order tea and snacks.
If i dont know that colegue that much, i feel good and I would start spend very little time everyday on learning or studying him or making a good relation with him.
If i know that colegue for while and he is the one who bothers me a lot then , their will be a mixed feeling
Their is a joke...
When Manager at shout any of my colleagues I FEEL SAD.
When Manager Appreciate any of my colleagues I FEEL MORE SAD and CRY FOR NO REASON :)
There's an old saying, "Anger is fear turned outward." in this case we can say "Jealousy is fear realized." When someone is jealous, they are conflicted about how hard they are working while not seeing the results someone else is getting. They aren't mad at others, they are mad at their lack of control over their situation. Their fear of failure is confronting them.
Certainly I feel jealous large positive jealousy does not envy, jealousy and positive characteristics of this type of jealousy she makes the others running to achieve accomplish what
It is human nature to feel jealous
But you have to be confident of your self and do what your colleagues can not do
Always think positive take this jealousy to push you self to do something more better
Taught fully ...... Yes some time but at the next moment I build confidence and take this positive.
We should use such things for motivation.
If he can do........I can too.
I wish I had such feeling to tell you exactly how it is but, I can say a positive jealous will reflect on a person's progress unlike a negative jealous will burn who has it.
"always positive is better than negative even in jealousy"
