What is the worst part about working in the customs clearance sector?

On my experience, worst part is when the Custom rules and regulations changes without proper notice (or with a short notice). Full lenght of explanation must be given on both sides bet Customs and the consignees. AE emirates are always keep on changing rules/law ..

comparing to other emirates , in dubai its very easy to clear your goods.
They are continuously improving their system to get the clearance done faster.
still i would say a couple of issues i personally found in customs.1) system error issues for electronic clearance (Mirsal)2) changing of rules within the operation team in customs.3) counter staff efficiency as i mentioned earlier, in very rare occasion you may have issues with Dubai customs.

In General, The worst part is the improper documentation and Manifestation would lead to reject the clearance sent back the goods to origin.
