One of the most important part of Project Management is to document the Lesson Learned, this is very helpful for the future projects. While working on one of my project a very tough lesson I learned was “Not to blindly trust the resource working on the Project, even if the resource is a senior and highly experienced one”. Blindly trusting a resource can bring a disaster to a project. What other Lesson Learned can you share for the benefits of others.

The following strategies may provide an appropriate basis for sound project planning:
1. Have you planned well,
2. Are all the required resources available and if not are these being made available in due course,
3. Do you measure the progress on a periodic basis? Are you taking measures to recover slippages,
4. Do you have clear communications channels suited to the project management team,
5. Is the team adequate in terms of project deliverables and project goals.
During project exection in the most important to managed the BOQ as per materials and testing to be approved,Methodology, design, level, project specification, safety with close monitoring and proper documentation of the project..
During project execution, we need to document anything related to project changes requests and their related approval or rejection status, the team capability to deliver the specified product, the project manager communications with the stakeholders, and any kind of obstacles and hidden risks appeared while executing the project.
