Diversity is to connect antenna by different type of connections to improve signal to noise ratio SNR. for example

Space diversity

Frequency diversity

Polarization diversity

lReceive diversity provides an effective technique for both overcoming the impact of fading across the radio channel and increasing the received signal to interference ratio.

p

lThe former is achieved by ensuring “uncorrelated” (i.e. low enough correlated) fading between antenna branches i.e. not all antennas experience fades at the same time.

Diversity can improve a number of elements within an RF Network.

Working on a simple triple diversity solution with a single TX and3 RX's. This diversity configuration provides an additional5dB of sensitivity at the Base Station side whilst also providing an element of receiver redundancy.
